"Yvonne Stiver-Macleod came recommended to me by an associate who had worked with her a few years earlier. I'd announced that I was looking for someone to create detailed process binders for two positions that report to me in Broadcast Design and Promotion department. So I hired her. She came to the office, reviewed the deliverables with me, made a thorough examination of existing materials in other departments, did a preliminary interview with each of employees working in the positions to be documented, gathered pertinent background information and supporting materials etc. and went away. There was some updating and clarification done by phone over the next few weeks.
What I hadn't considered for this project is that in creating these binders, the level of detail, and therefore, the level of understanding the writer would need to have of each position, was enormous. What surprised me was how well Yvonne had zeroed in on the essence and true function of the positions. And then laid it out.
When I reviewed the completed documents, they were logical, organized, detailed, and accurate. And-according to others who reviewed the binders-better than any of our existing pieces. In short, Yvonne did a splendid job for us. I would hire her again in a heartbeat."
